We were so proud and honoured to be announced as the winner of the Family Business Australia (FBA) QLD Small Business Award at this year’s FBA state conference. To receive an award like this as a small family business means the world to us. The FBA state conference was held at The Emporium Hotel in Southbank, Brisbane and was a great day full of informative speakers, a beautiful lunch and great networking.
It was very special to have our founders Rocco and Michele Festa attend the conference and as you can see from the smiles on their faces, they were very proud to see that the second generation of the business they started over 46 years ago is continuing on in safe hands and not only that but winning awards for their hard work.
We are so grateful that our accountants, Grant Thornton, recommend we join FBA as we had never been involved before and now after two years of membership with them we are getting so much out of it. Family business is really a unique circumstance yet 70% of Australian business is a family business. The people and knowledge we have got out of this membership is really worth the investment and we thank FBA for acknowledging us as the winner for the 2022 QLD Small business award.
