We recently hosted our very first Women in Painting Breakfast at our head office in Brisbane.
We have been in business over 45 years and the painting industry has always been male dominated. In recent times more woman have joined the industry and just this year we have appointed our very first female apprentice. With the growing numbers of woman in our workforce and in the industry as a whole we wanted to celebrate them by hosting a breakfast. We enjoyed coffee from The Albion Marketplace, pastries from MICA and had goodie bags for all attendees with some great contributions from Dulux and AWIC.
All the ladies at our breakfast thoroughly enjoyed it and it was decided that it won’t be a once off event but something we would like to open up to the painting industry as a whole.
